Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Chlebek came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernard Rywin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Tolek Ruzicki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izydor Chlebek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 39 minutes into the game, Cezary Solak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Cezary Solak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernard Rywin in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylwester Orszak was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 59th play minutes Bernard Rywin shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Izydor Chlebek took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernard Rywin went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Rywin in the 70th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Why Jonny why's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Why Jonny why booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Rywin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Chlebek in the 78th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Rywin in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Bernard Rywin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Rywin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. If Izydor Chlebek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Why Jonny why's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
