Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marian Domala 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Lech Szotek's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lech Szotek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Husaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Szotek to maneuver through the defense. Ryszard Zachemski made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franciszek Brudzisz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Domala came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Husaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radowit Wozniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Husaria's Ryszard Zachemski got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Wladyslaw Blochowiak hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Dylla in the 61st minute of play. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Wozniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Franciszek Brudzisz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Radowit Wozniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Marian Domala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Radoslaw Dylla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes, Janusz Kapelski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Husaria and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Janusz Kapelski hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Husaria's Marian Domala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
