Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Luo Ke Xiang started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Acun Tandan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Acun Tandan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute of play forced Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper Acun Tandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Acun Tandan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Sæbø in the 32nd minute. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yeşilköyspor getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alcides Niedermayer hit a great ball. The Yeşilköyspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Yeşilköyspor defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Acun Tandan. The Yeşilköyspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Acun Tandan should have stopped the shot. Alcides Niedermayer kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Mark Sæbø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Yeşilköyspor's Acun Tandan. Acun Tandan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Ke Xiang in the 68th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atalan Temizel in the 71st minute of play. Kemalettin Taykut's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kemalettin Taykut helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Yeşilköyspor got a freekick which was hit by Kemalettin Taykut. After 80 played minutes Yeşilköyspor got a freekick which was hit by Hayyam Haymanalı. 85 minutes into the match, Yeşilköyspor's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Acun Tandan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acun Tandan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Sæbø in the 91st minute of play. The corner led Yeşilköyspor's Atalan Temizel to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Yeşilköyspor and deserved their victory. The Yeşilköyspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
