The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Konstanty Dubilas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Montenegro scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstanty Dubilas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 12 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstanty Dubilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Konstanty Dubilas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Dawid Barycz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Konstanty Dubilas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstanty Dubilas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 34th minute of play forced Hawajskie Koszule's goalkeeper Konstanty Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Czermak in the 42nd minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. 周瑜 in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 53rd minute A.J. 周瑜 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hawajskie Koszule getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aureliusz Dziatkowicz hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Konstanty Dubilas. Hawajskie Koszule's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd minute, 魏战荣 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawajskie Koszule's goalkeeper Konstanty Dubilas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hawajskie Koszule's Konstanty Dubilas did a great save. With his leg Konstanty Dubilas managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Konstanty Dubilas. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hawajskie Koszule was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Czermak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hawajskie Koszule fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
