In the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Holger Ålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Edebäck FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Real Edebäck FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Yang Ming in the 25th minute of play. When Roger Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Real Edebäck FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Jakobsson in the 28th minute of play. Holger Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Ålberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Real Edebäck FC's goalkeeper Holger Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Real Edebäck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Beckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Limofer hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Jakobsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Aldo Lusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Ålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Lusi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Holger Ålberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Edebäck FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Holger Ålberg quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Felix Montes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Edebäck FC's Holger Ålberg. Holger Ålberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Real Edebäck FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Ålberg came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Ålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Real Edebäck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shao Yang Ming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Ålberg made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 82 minutes Real Edebäck FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Holger Ålberg quite easily take care of the ball. Holger Ålberg stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Montenegro came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Aldo Lusi scored 1-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Real Edebäck FC's goalkeeper Holger Ålberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalle Lenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalle Lenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Real Edebäck FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Holger Ålberg. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
