The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Antoni Kosel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Antoni Kosel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Antoni Kosel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antoni Kosel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Duda Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 38th match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Kosel having to interfere. Stanislaw Siembab did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 43 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Kosel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 73 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Nieuzyla. Artur Rydzewski charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Rydzewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. In the 77th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antoni Kosel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Antoni Kosel got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Franciszek Cichewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Antoni Kosel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoni Kosel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Andryszyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Lukasz Nieuzyla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Lukasz Nieuzyla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Zachary Domin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
