Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If İbrahim-Asım Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justas Kukulskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vit Brun in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes Warberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Szoboszlai. 24 minutes into the match, Warberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Justas Kukulskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warberg FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Justas Kukulskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, İbrahim-Asım Johansson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 32nd minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gordie Goretzka fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justas Kukulskis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. İbrahim-Asım Johansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Hubert Hubert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, İbrahim-Asım Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but İbrahim-Asım Johansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when İbrahim-Asım Johansson made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justas Kukulskis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Warberg FC's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justas Kukulskis came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Justas Kukulskis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justas Kukulskis having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Nutsch in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Warberg FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Dominic Szoboszlai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. When Warberg FC's İbrahim-Asım Johansson in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Warberg FC's Leonardo Bäck got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 98th minute Des Nutsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
