Emanuel Markham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Emanuel Markham sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Witek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Brufoss IL's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kent Remme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After taking down the ball on Brufoss IL's corner Kai Østbye fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Witek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kai Østbye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Emanuel Markhams short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Kent Remme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Markham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 65th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Kenneth Heistad to maneuver through the defense. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. Borys Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. 96 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Markham came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
