The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Benedict in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Sänningstjärns BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Mito Troyanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mito Troyanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Benedict came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Nils-Åke Kinnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Nils-Åke Kinnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Benedict in the 27th minute of the match. Mito Troyanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. Sänningstjärns BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomas Örn in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Åke Kinnman got free with Dante Lacasa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Sänningstjärns BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Mito Troyanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mito Troyanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Benedict, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sänningstjärns BK made a substitution. Andrei Shevchenko replaced Thomas Örn. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play forced Sänningstjärns BK's goalkeeper Mito Troyanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mito Troyanov but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Sänningstjärns BK's Mito Troyanov got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mito Troyanov. That made the score 0-1 in the 64 minute of play. Hans Benedict sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute Hans Benedict shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Mito Troyanov made a huge save. Mito Troyanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 姚阳风 kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sänningstjärns BK's Valdemar Kock was substituted for Knut Olsson. A collision led to Sänningstjärns BK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Valdemar Kock hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Joel Gaona fired a really elegant long shot, but Mito Troyanov threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Andrei Shevchenko scored 1-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mito Troyanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sänningstjärns BK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
