Miroslav Kukla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Čech could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Sebastian Čech who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Miroslav Kukla. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Miroslav Kukla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Mojžíš in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
