Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angelo Milanese's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guy Rothe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Angelo Milanese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. Emanuel Ogășanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Sydney FC's Önder Cebi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Cebi came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Titz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. Angelo Milanese's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Milanese. In the 27th minute of the match, Angelo Milanese got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Titz saved Sydney FC from getting behind. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 40th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Titz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Titz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 56th minute Emanuel Ogășanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Sebastian Titz in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Titz. Sydney FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Sydney FC's Angelo Milanese got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Ogășanu in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Sebastian Titz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guy Rothe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Ogășanu in the 80th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Titz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 92nd match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Milanese to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 94th minute of the match.
