Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamal Habib was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kamal Habib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lucky Star's Kamal Habib tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led to Ecuador's Cristian Sancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lucky Star's Kamal Habib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Habib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Lucky Star's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Kamal Habib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lucky Star's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal Habib came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cucu Milo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lucky Star booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cucu Milo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Bagong Tomagola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Darius Karepouan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lucky Star. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kamal Habib made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Cucu Milo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Lucky Star's Kamal Habib proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Lucky Star from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ading Restiana, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Lucky Star were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ading Restiana took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ading Restiana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Lucky Star getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fedro Budjana hit a great ball. With a little luck, Lucky Star's Kamal Habib got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Habib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamal Habib made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sondang Gultom to maneuver through the defense. Kamal Habib made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucky Star's Cucu Milo. But to his dismay, Cucu Milo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
