In the 94thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Ali Artuner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alam Lee's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alam Lee helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alam Lee to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester United.
