Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Azam Chew took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bryan Ramachandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Artuner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Azam Chew struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The long shot by Daniz Keng in the 21st minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Daniz Keng kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ali Artuner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ali Artuner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Arif Soon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Ali Artuner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Artuner having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Manchester United's Azam Chew ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Artuner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes Manchester United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Arif Soon's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Soon helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Arif Soon. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Manchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Artuner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azam Chew in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ali Artuner in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Alam Lee got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ali Artuner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azam Chew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Daniz Keng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute Bryan Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Manchester United's Ali Artuner got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alam Lee hit a great ball. Bryan Abdul kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azam Chew in the 94th managed to get into a good position.
