Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Jared Straub started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ämmer Sportfreaks's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 10th minute, Ecuador's Antonio Arias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Antonio Arias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Antonio Arias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Klaus Fossati:s penalty. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Klaus Fossati was slow to take the kick. During this time Ämmer Sportfreaks's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Klaus Fossati almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Jared Straub had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernot Grondin. Hardy Oester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ämmer Sportfreaks's Hardy Oester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jared Straub in the 21st minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gernot Grondin in the 25th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Restaino in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Klaus Fossati:s penalty. After 32 minutes of play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Klaus Fossati made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Hardy Oester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Hardy Oester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lars Restaino sent off a good shot on target. Hardy Oester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Sancho was the one to do the kick off. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Hardy Oester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hardy Oester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Juan Sebastián Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Hardy Oester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hardy Oester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hardy Oester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Ziegerer. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hardy Oester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jered Meister to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ämmer Sportfreaks. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Luc Hagenbuch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hardy Oester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ämmer Sportfreaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Fossati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
