Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Silvano Cibran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Boguslaw Jaraczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Boguslaw Jaraczewski came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Boguslaw Jaraczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Zapniów's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mithat Adıvar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Cibran, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zapniów's Kjell Holmberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boguslaw Jaraczewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. The long shot by Silvano Cibran in the 42nd minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Zapniów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mithat Adıvar in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapniów the free kick. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Gerlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Cibran in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Pasterski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Silvano Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Cibran in the 73rd minute of play. Silvano Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Pasterski in the 80th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Cibran in the 81st minute of play. Silvano Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Silvano Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. The Zapniów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
