After having played for 26 minutes, Luis Alberto Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laus Deo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Alberto Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pendex's Guaberto Orlandus got control of the ball when Kong Ping tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cacá Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Guaberto Orlandus made a huge save. Guaberto Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 40 minutes into the game, Cacá Diniz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guaberto Orlandus. Cacá Diniz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Alberto Moura came free, but Guaberto Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
