ZigZag Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merusca F&P - CIMZ the free kick. In the 25th match minute, ZigZag Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Öman to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Jacek Zjawin with Hector Ares as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Willian Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Nestor in the 30th minute of play. After 34 minutes ZigZag Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guga Castro who took care of the corner kick. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Guga Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcus Isaksson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Abraão in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Öman. Bengt-Rune Öman made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hector Ares immediately put the ball in play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Nestor to make the kick off. Raimundo Amorim made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ZigZag Athletic's Kjell Boberg. Nicki Nick scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Abraão in the 66th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Nicki Nick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Willian Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Carlos Augusto Esteves was substituted for Fabiano Abraão. ZigZag Athletic's Tiago Corrêa was substituted for Rodrigo Nestor. Tiago Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Kjell Boberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after ZigZag Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guga Castro took the corner. For all the effort they put into the match, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ZigZag Athletic.
