An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Sotil in the 10th minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Bernabe Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CLATHU's Bernabe Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Iruinea in the 11th minute of play. Bernabe Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Sotil in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Aprígio Tomé. In the 25th match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Baladi to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aprígio Tomé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bicicleta F.C. were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after CLATHU's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eleuterio Sotil took the corner. When Segundo Feliu fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bicicleta F.C.'s protests and gave Segundo Feliu a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Feliu. In the 37th match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aprígio Tomé to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match, Amadeo Medero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fausto Roderigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Iruinea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Osorio was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Sotil to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mateo Batista the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bicicleta F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mateo Batista had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bicicleta F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! If Eleuterio Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
