The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Claudinho Sá got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Zonta in the 15th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Róbson Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Zonta in the 18th minute of play. Eusébio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's goalkeeper Jano Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Abraão. Gonçalo de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Fabiano Abraão made the kick off in the second half. When Fabiano Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Abraão couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Abraão came free, but Jano Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's zone, Leopoldo de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Medeiros came out of the goal and Leopoldo de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Róbson Linares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo Zonta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Osvaldo Zonta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Róbson Linares 65 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Osvaldo Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Abraão's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Zonta in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Róbson Linares saved Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting behind. Carlos Alberto Dias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Carlos Augusto Esteves was substituted for Fabiano Abraão. After 82 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Dias. Osvaldo Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldo Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Linares having to interfere. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF played a much better game than Merusca F&P - CIMZ and deserved their victory. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
