With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irinel Mirciu saved Galati Harbour Cats from getting behind. Irinel Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of the match. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Galati Harbour Cats players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Valeriu Zdrobiş got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Shi Li. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute Galati Harbour Cats were awarded a corner. Iordache Negrițoiu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Iordache Negrițoiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Galati Harbour Cats's Ianis Man was substituted for Shi Li. 79 minutes into the game, Valeriu Zdrobiş threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Irinel Mirciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Irinel Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Onurhan Çinuçin got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 95 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Ducu. Irinel Mirciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Mina in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galati Harbour Cats.
