With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Jakob in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Sebastian Latocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 25th minute of the match. If Dominik Breckheimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Jakob, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Arne Jakob kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Latocha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Sebastian Latocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freestylers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Breckheimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastian Latocha, 1-3. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrik Nagel who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Dominik Breckheimer sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. In the 86th minute, Patrik Nagel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sebastian Latocha made a huge save. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Jakob in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Freestylers throughout the match.
