Victor Rutenio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Freitas in the 20th minute. Filip Topolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Marian Duszenski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LKS Wasik Lidzbark. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Freitas in the 34th minute of the match. Filip Topolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by LKS Wasik Lidzbark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filip Topolski quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Freitas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Filip Topolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Pankracy Rasiak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Duszenski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Filip Topolski made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Topolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st match minute, LKS Wasik Lidzbark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Modrzewski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 74th minute of play forced LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Filip Topolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes LKS Wasik Lidzbark got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Rasiak. With a little luck, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Filip Topolski got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes LKS Wasik Lidzbark got a freekick which was hit by Emil Modrzewski. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Dariusz Borkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The LKS Wasik Lidzbark players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
