Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nikos Stavrou kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü defense, Facundo Cadaval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 10th minute of play. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Güney Tanören got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Nikos Stavrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 74th minute of play forced Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü reached it. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 96th minute of play. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
