Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jason Seagrave got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Seagrave, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Lineker having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jason Seagrave kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Lineker having to make a save. After 23 played minutes Hockley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matty Gerrard. In the 25th minute, Hockley AFC's Joseph Hubbard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fred Lineker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hockley AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Hubbard in the 34th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Hockley AFC's corner Trevor Lyons fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jason Seagrave. Fred Lineker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Fred Lineker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute, Joseph Hubbard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jason Seagrave kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. David Ashby kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jonathan Venegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Hubbard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Hockley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Hubbard to maneuver through the defense. Matty Gerrard kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Joseph Hubbard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Joseph Hubbard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hockley AFC's Lawrence Crayon was substituted for Oliver Watson. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fred Lineker. That made the score 5-2 in the 87 minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Fred Lineker made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Hubbard in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hockley AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
