With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Preslav Kulekov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elin Lazarkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match, Konstantin Ilyov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 21 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Sagittarius A-star players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Sagittarius A-star's Preslav Kulekov in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denislav Bogev. Sagittarius A-star's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 27th minute Konstantin Ilyov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lyuben Bahchevanov was slow to take the kick. During this time Sagittarius A-star's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lyuben Bahchevanov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. After having played for 37 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sagittarius A-star's Preslav Kulekov got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstantin Ilyov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
52 minutes into the match, Sagittarius A-star's goalkeeper Denislav Bogev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. If Elin Lazarkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Sagittarius A-star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyuben Bahchevanov to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Ilyov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Denislav Bogev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sagittarius A-star's Ruslan Penkov got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Sagittarius A-star's Preslav Kulekov got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruslan Penkov made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Preslav Kulekov however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preslav Kulekov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Denislav Bogev in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denislav Bogev. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sagittarius A-star were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
