Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Åke Walmarsson started the match with the kick off. Christian Sancho hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Walmarsson got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Bruse saved Ultra Boys from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Moises Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emil Löfgren, made in the 12th minute of the game. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Ultra Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Espinar came free, but Mats Bruse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Bruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Emil Löfgren got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bo-Erik Fagrell. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Bruse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arne Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mats Bruse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After 30 minutes, Ernst Stenqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ultra Boys and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 32 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arne Martinsson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Martinsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Bruse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Walmarsson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Bruse having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 67th minute of play forced Ultra Boys's goalkeeper Mats Bruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Moises Tafalla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mats Bruse, passed just outside the right post. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Walmarsson in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Moises Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
