Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Hector Pello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Hector Pello in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Korfs came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freek Som, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Pello made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 45thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jonathan Ferrant would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Pello was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Costa got free with Harry Mik in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Pello's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Damien Korfs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harry Mik made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 69thth minute of the game Damien Korfs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Hector Pello made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Mik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute Damien Korfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Freek Som kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Hector Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Hector Pello got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leiden Spor Kulubu fully deserved thier win.
