Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Babil United's Celil İlhanoğlu. Celil İlhanoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Görkem Özerdal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Babil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdi Mehmet Ulusan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Babil United's Celil İlhanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Celil İlhanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celil İlhanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Korcan Kamil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Korcan Kamil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Korcan Kamil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 36th minute, Çağan Canol fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Babil United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Görkem Özerdal hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdi Mehmet Ulusan made a kick off. In the 57th minute Babil United were awarded a corner. Engin Acemoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. Ferhan Tahsin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferhan Tahsin during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Ferhan Tahsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59thth minute of the game Abdi Mehmet Ulusan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mehmet Ulusan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abdi Mehmet Ulusan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Babil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdi Mehmet Ulusan couldn't finish the play. Görkem Özerdal kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Babil United's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdi Mehmet Ulusan's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Engin Acemoğlu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babil United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
