Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdi Mehmet Ulusan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Ulusan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Babil United were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Engin Acemoğlu took the corner. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 58th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Celil İlhanoğlu made a huge save. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Celil İlhanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Celil İlhanoğlu. Babil United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 82nd minute, Abdi Mehmet Ulusan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 84th match minute, Babil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhan Tahsin to maneuver through the defense. The Babil United fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Babil United's Engin Acemoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Ulusan in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Engin Acemoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Babil United's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Korcan Kamil managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Abdi Mehmet Ulusan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The Babil United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
