Adriano Benvenuto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Godoi came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than I ritirandi di Canaus.
