Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermes Roriz having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cranberry United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Hägg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cranberry United's Hermes Roriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 7th minute of play. Hermes Roriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hermes Roriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hermes Roriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Mathieu Toussain hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Hermes Roriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermes Roriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Roriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermes Roriz having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermes Roriz. Cranberry United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hermes Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Cranberry United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 39th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermes Roriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hermes Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermes Roriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Hermes Roriz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daren Howard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermes Roriz. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Cranberry United got a freekick which was hit by August Hägg. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermes Roriz. Cranberry United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Cranberry United's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Hermes Roriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Cranberry United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antonio Arias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 71 played minutes Cranberry United got a freekick which was hit by August Hägg. Hermes Roriz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hermes Roriz came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 79th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermes Roriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.
