Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sobah Conchas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Herbert Hjortberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 6 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Skene players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sobah Conchas sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 12 minutes, Kurt Nordgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Nordgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sobah Conchas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sobah Conchas in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Skene's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Gregory Mäder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Sobah Conchas made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Chicote was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Per Johansson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sobah Conchas in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gregory Mäder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Skene's Birger Karlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Johansson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sobah Conchas in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Skene booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Birger Karlstedt in the 78 minute of the game. The throw-in from Bertil Cane in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. After 91 played minutes Skene got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Ugla.
