Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Albert Nae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Nae in the 12th minute. After 19 minutes of play, ZION's Han Lin Zhen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Vizitiu in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Albert Nae made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Ogrodowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilbert Ogrodowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Nae made a kick off. With a little luck, ZION's Dacian Enachescu got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes ZION got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Figlewski. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Garzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Garzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dacian Enachescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Vizitiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Nae, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Avram Vizitiu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZION. After 91 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. 96 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Han Lin Zhen came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ZION fully deserved thier win.
