Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in STILON GORZÓW's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Slazak came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when STILON GORZÓW's Wiktor Basaik in the 19th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julio Vera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ecuador through an amazing save. In the 20th minute STILON GORZÓW were awarded a corner. Miguel Refugio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led STILON GORZÓW's Wiktor Basaik to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Basaik in the 22nd minute of play. Zdzislaw Slazak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. STILON GORZÓW's Zdzislaw Slazak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after STILON GORZÓW's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Zdzislaw Slazak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced STILON GORZÓW's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Slazak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. STILON GORZÓW's Zdzislaw Slazak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Abel Baptista hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, STILON GORZÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Zdzislaw Slazak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 56th minute, STILON GORZÓW's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. STILON GORZÓW made a substitution. Bernard Kosakowski replaced Sebastian Major. STILON GORZÓW's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miguel Refugio in the 78th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Kosakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Slazak having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Waclaw Fiszer made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Bernard Kosakowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match STILON GORZÓW got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Refugio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Hieronim Pruss heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but STILON GORZÓW were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
