Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cacá Čačak made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Gary. Eric Gary dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Jagiellonia Denver's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Jagiellonia Denver got a freekick which was hit by Stanford Whitten. Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélio Donatello's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Donatello helped the player get up and apologised. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Gary, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Gary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 60th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Čačak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Jagiellonia Denver got a freekick which was hit by Michal Majdoch. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Čačak, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jagiellonia Denver's Özalp Durkaya was substituted for Florence Diaz. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eric Gary came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. 林邦瑜 replaced Ricardo Gareca. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Gary in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 87th minute, Özalp Durkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Eric Gary in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 93rd minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
