After 12 minutes of play, SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A very nice done corner allowed He Bing Jie to score against Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal. 4-0 after 20 minutes. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Xu Le Shu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Emirşah Öktemer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SRP-Laguna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Xu Le Shu scored 7-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xu Le Shu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
