Santino Seco succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Fanström having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Cristi got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
