Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Trancoso should have stopped the shot. Camilo Gisbert made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. In the 43rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmyr Cavalcante was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Trancoso. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Richard Trancoso in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Richard Trancoso made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Trancoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Richard Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Trancoso. The goal made the score 0-12. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Primitivo Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Trancoso. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Trancoso should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of SRP-Laguna's Richard Trancoso. Richard Trancoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. In the 81st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Richard Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Richard Trancoso, 0-16. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Richard Trancoso made a huge save. The SRP-Laguna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
