After 6 played minutes Haljala got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Lilleväli. 7 minutes into the match, Haljala's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tibor Pálffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Pálffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tibor Pálffy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tibor Pálffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tibor Pálffy was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play forced Haljala's goalkeeper Tibor Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Haljala's goalkeeper Tibor Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Pálffy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Tibor Pálffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tibor Pálffy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 41 minutes, Agustín Saelices made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Haljala's Tibor Pálffy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Dobrițoiu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

With a little luck, Haljala's Tibor Pálffy got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tibor Pálffy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Dobrițoiu in the 59th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Pálffy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes, Ivan Bashliev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haljala and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tibor Pálffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Dobrițoiu in the 70th minute of play. Haljala's Tibor Pálffy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Haljala from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Tibor Pálffy threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tibor Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. Tibor Pálffy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tibor Pálffy. That made the score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. With a little luck, Haljala's Tibor Pálffy got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tibor Pálffy came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The Haljala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
