Haljala's Adam Dobrițoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Lilleväli in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced Haljala's goalkeeper Tibor Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Härmo Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Haljala got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Bashliev. Tibor Pálffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragnar Usk came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Haljala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Edvin Lilleväli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute Ragnar Usk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Härmo Vides hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute of the game Ragnar Tähismaa made a throw-in which Kristjan Toim played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of play forced Haljala's goalkeeper Tibor Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tibor Pálffy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute. Härmo Vides scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Dobrițoiu in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Adam Dobrițoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Haljala fully deserved thier win.
