In the 24th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tahsin Atacan to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Gordon Horgan made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gordon Horgan to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gordon Horgan made a huge save. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Olgun Oktay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Olgun Oktay notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Olgun Oktay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gordon Horgan made a huge save. A collision led to COPERNICUS TORUŃ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Brion Murphy hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
