Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Hârlău should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Olimpiu Hârlău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Hârlău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olimpiu Hârlău was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Panaiteanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mugur Timofte was slow to take the kick. During this time Carpathian Wolves's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Philip Rosendal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Yu Feng Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Feng Xi. 42 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. Carpathian Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Olimpiu Hârlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avram Panaiteanu was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Thorstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Thorstein in the 58th minute of the match. Carpathian Wolves were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mugur Timofte took the corner. In the 63rd minute of the match Carpathian Wolves got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Timofte ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Carpathian Wolves's corner Mugur Timofte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Feng Xi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Olimpiu Hârlău in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpiu Hârlău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpathian Wolves's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 92nd minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
