Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Víktor Muli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víktor Muli scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Muli in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Flodde CFC's Ture Sandström got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jan Ålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flodde CFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Ålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Flodde CFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Muli came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Víktor Muli to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börje Holmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the game Ture Sandström made a throw-in which Stevie Méthot played forward. In the 63rd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Holmgren was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Víktor Muli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Flodde CFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthon Nordin's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Nordin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Víktor Muli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Víktor Muli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Flodde CFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Holmgren came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Britz in the 87th minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Muli in the 90th minute of play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Holmgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
