Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE SK's Iakovos Papadimas got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahmi Vala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahmi Vala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when GÖZTEPE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iakovos Papadimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Iakovos Papadimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GÖZTEPE SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 18th match minute, GÖZTEPE SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iakovos Papadimas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the GÖZTEPE SK defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rahmi Vala. The GÖZTEPE SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rahmi Vala should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rahmi Vala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rahmi Vala. GÖZTEPE SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 37 played minutes GÖZTEPE SK got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan Sağman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hadi Tunç in the 44th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute of the match GÖZTEPE SK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orbay Samin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Orbay Samin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rahmi Vala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play. Rahmi Vala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 57th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rahmi Vala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 63rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Okropny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rahmi Vala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rahmi Vala was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahmi Vala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rahmi Vala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, GÖZTEPE SK's Rahmi Vala got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iakovos Papadimas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Adriano De Lellis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Rahmi Vala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of GÖZTEPE SK's Rahmi Vala. Rahmi Vala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GÖZTEPE SK made a substitution. Ali Behzat İlighan replaced Iakovos Papadimas. Cristian Sancho scored 0-8 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rahmi Vala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The GÖZTEPE SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
