Peter Oldenborger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th match minute, MK Investments was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Degens to maneuver through the defense. Peter Oldenborger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Peter Oldenborger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Waclaw Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MK Investments's Gerard Lever got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Oldenborger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. A collision led to MK Investments getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jimmie Cai hit a great ball. The MK Investments fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
