The corner ended in Lev Meskhi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. 6 minutes into the match, Lev Meskhi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lev Meskhi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Lev Meskhi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Matvey Epanchin made a huge save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikhail Hromchenko in the 12th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efim Abramov, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Matvey Epanchin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matvey Epanchin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game Lev Meskhi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kazemir Gorbachev. Evgeniy Kobeko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Noboa. Peru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikhail Hromchenko in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. The Peru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dynamite were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Lev Meskhi made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mariusz Mierzejewski immediately put the ball in play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikhail Hromchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matvey Epanchin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dynamite's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dynamite's Matvey Epanchin did a great save. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matvey Epanchin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matvey Epanchin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Dynamite supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dynamite would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
