Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Efren Dobale hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Loren Prats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. Loren Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Orlando Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Loren Prats. Pegaso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Loren Prats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Pânzaru came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Loren Prats made a huge save. After 89 minutes of play, Pegaso's Jairo Valery made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Loren Prats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
