Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. John Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Forsberg in the 13th minute of play. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, John Forsberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panama's Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nechifor Baștină firmly grabbed it by the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Remus Stoicescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remus Stoicescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Forsberg in the 24th minute of play. Remus Stoicescu scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Academia D3c3bal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Nechifor Baștină reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Academia D3c3bal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Academia D3c3bal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Academia D3c3bal FC's goalkeeper Nechifor Baștină had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Stoicescu in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Baștină saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Baștină didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Nechifor Baștină showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Stoicescu in the 69th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Forsberg in the 74th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Academia D3c3bal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Tomas Berganza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 84 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when John Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. Nechifor Baștină showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute of the match. The Academia D3c3bal FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Panama from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
