Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fabrizio Adriano sent off a good shot on target. Bar Marconi United were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davide Spadoni took the corner. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Adriano in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Bar Marconi United's Fabrizio Adriano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrizio Adriano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Fabrizio Adriano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabrizio Adriano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Fabrizio Adriano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. If Davide Spadoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrizio Adriano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Bar Marconi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Canzano to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Fabrizio Adriano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 55 minutes of play, Bar Marconi United's Fabrizio Adriano made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute Fabrizio Adriano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Adriano went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Costin Alucai notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Bar Marconi United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Horea Balint quite easily take care of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Cesare Talamo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Hugo Ferrant was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Alucai in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Alucai in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bar Marconi United had played much better football throughout.
